The Burj Series consists of high-quality rugs made entirely by hand on traditional flatweave looms, woven from 100% natural Lyocell (TENCEL™) fibers. The silky sheen and soft texture of TENCEL™ fiber give the rug an elegant appearance, while its natural fiber structure offers an eco-friendly experience. The 6 mm pile height provides a comfortable underfoot feel; its 168,000 loops and weight of 2800 gr/m² combine dense weaving quality with durability. This density creates a full, sturdy feel underfoot and ensures long-lasting use. The fringed edge finish completes the elegance of the craftsmanship. This variant features a multicolored (multi) texture in which different colors come together in harmony.
What Is TENCEL™ (Lyocell)?
TENCEL™ is the brand name for Lyocell fiber, produced from wood cellulose sourced from sustainably managed forests. The closed-loop process used in production recovers most of the solvent, consuming less water and energy than conventional production. TENCEL™ fiber is known for its softness, moisture-regulating properties, and natural sheen; its breathable, skin-friendly structure adds a comfortable feel to living spaces. Burj Series TENCEL™ rugs should only be cleaned by professional rug-cleaning companies. Since Lyocell fiber can be sensitive when wet, washing at home or cleaning with large amounts of water may damage the texture; therefore, leaving deep cleaning to a professional rug-cleaning service will help preserve the rug’s texture and natural sheen for a long time. The fringed edges can be gently straightened by hand; avoid pulling or wetting them.

Delivery
Once your order has been prepared, it is handed over to Yurtiçi Kargo and delivered to your door within 1-3 business days after it has been shipped. Preparation time varies by product; the estimated delivery date specific to your region is shown on the product page. Every shipment is insured until delivery.

Free for orders of 10,000 TL or more. For orders below this amount, the shipping fee is 999 TL.

Available worldwide via DHL Express and free of charge.

Returns
If your rug is not what you expected, you can select “Request a return” under My Account › My Orders within 14 days of delivery. Once your request is approved, your return code will be sent to you via WhatsApp. You do not need to take the rug to a shipping branch — you can call the nearest Yurtiçi Kargo branch and request pickup from your address. Return shipping is covered by us.
Exchanges
If you would like a different size, color, or an entirely different rug, you can select “Request an exchange” within 14 days. Your new rug will be shipped once the returned rug reaches us; shipping is on us. If there is a price difference, a payment link will be sent to you; if your new selection is less expensive, the difference will be refunded to your card. Custom-size rugs cannot be returned or exchanged.
Warranty
All our rugs are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Immediate Action and Contact with Liquids
When liquid is spilled, timing is the most critical factor. Using a clean, slightly damp cloth, remove the liquid from the surface by gently blotting only, never rubbing. Always work in the direction of the rug's pile (the natural direction in which the fibers lie). Rubbing can damage the shape of delicate fibers such as TENCEL™ and viscose. If you are unsure, stop immediately.
Routine Care and Light Balance
For your weekly cleaning routine, always use vacuum cleaners with low suction power. High-powered upright vacuum cleaners and stiff brushes can damage the natural structure of handwoven yarns. To balance the reaction of natural yarns to light and prevent localized tonal differences (fading), we recommend changing the direction of your rug every 2 to 6 months.
The Expert Touch (Professional Cleaning)
Noble textures such as handwoven fibers, TENCEL™, viscose, and New Zealand wool should not come into contact with household chemical cleaners. Such products can irreversibly damage the rug's silky sheen and structural integrity. For deep cleaning, seek assistance only from professional rug care centers specializing in natural fibers.
Washing Instructions
The exquisite pieces in the Carpetdocia collections are not suitable for machine washing due to their construction. (Only our specific models clearly labeled "Washable" may be washed in household machines using a low-temperature, delicate cycle.)
