How Do You Clean a Wool-Viscose-Cotton Knitted Rug?
Since viscose in the blend is a regenerated cellulose fiber that is sensitive to water and excessive moisture, handwoven knitted rugs in the Woolstar Collection, made from a wool-viscose-cotton blend, should only be cleaned by professional rug-cleaning companies. Machine washing, washing at home with detergent, and wet cleaning are therefore not recommended. For everyday care, use a low-suction vacuum cleaner and gently dab any stains with a lightly damp cloth. Gently vacuuming between the knitted loops helps preserve the rug’s natural texture and shape for a long time.

Returns
If your rug isn’t what you expected, you can request a return within 14 days of delivery through My Account › My Orders by selecting “Request a return.” Once your request is approved, your return code will be sent via WhatsApp. You don’t need to take the rug to a shipping branch — simply call your nearest Yurtiçi Kargo branch to arrange pickup from your address. We cover the return shipping cost.
Exchanges
If you’d like a different size, color, or a completely different rug, you can request an exchange within 14 days by selecting “Request an exchange.” Your new rug will be sent once we receive the one you returned; shipping is on us. If there’s a price difference, we’ll send you a payment link. If your new choice costs less, the difference will be refunded to your card. Rugs made to custom dimensions cannot be returned or exchanged.

All our rugs come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

For your weekly cleaning routine, always use vacuum cleaners with low suction power. High-powered upright vacuums and stiff brushes can damage the natural structure of handwoven yarns. To balance natural fibers’ reaction to light and prevent localized tonal differences (fading), we recommend changing your rug’s direction every 2 to 6 months.

Noble fibers such as handwoven TENCEL™, viscose, and New Zealand wool should not come into contact with household chemical cleaners. Washing Instructions
The exquisite pieces in the Carpetdocia collections are not suitable for machine washing due to their construction. (Only specific models explicitly labeled “Washable” in their name can be washed in home washing machines using a low-temperature, delicate cycle.)
